You Can Watch Video Links Sent on Whatsapp Without Leaving the App with the New PiP Feature

by HN Porter of tech4today.net

Whatsapp has recently updated a new feature that allows you to watch shared videos within WhatsApp without leaving the app. The new feature, Picture-in-Picture / PiP, is available on Google Store for Android users and users can use it after updating their WhatsApp to the latest version.
The PiP mode accommodates video calls as well and users can now shrink their WhatsApp video call screen and continue using other apps without pausing the video.

Below is a list of how PiP works:
- Update WhatsApp and send a video link to a contact.
- Click on the video link and start playing the video on WhatsApp.
- As the video plays go ahead and continue chatting or scrolling through messages.
- You can move the minimized video screen around your phone screen, and maximize it to watch the video in full screen.
- PiP will stay within the chat box and will disappear when you move to the previous menu.
- For video calls, PiP allows users to shrink the video call screen on WhatsApp and continue using WhatsApp and other apps while being on a WhatsApp video call. This feature is available for Android and iOS users.
