Five Horror Movies to Look Forward to in 2019

With the new year comes new things. Let's take a look at some of the most thrilling films that will be gracing our TV screens for 2019.

1. Escape Room
Release date: January 4, 2019 (USA)
Six strangers find themselves in circumstances beyond their control, and must use their wits to survive.

2. Happy Death Day 2U
Release date: February 14, 2019 (USA)
Sequel to the 2017 film 'Happy Death Day.' Stuck in a time loop, college student Tree Gelbman must die over and over again to save her friends from a psychotic masked killer. In the sequel, it's two years after the events of the first film and Tree Gelbman re-enters the time loop to determine why she was entered into it in the first place. She must also face a revenge-seeking Lori, who has been resurrected by the power of the time loop.


3. Pet Sematary
Release date: April 4, 2019 (Australia)
Louis Creed, his wife Rachel and their two children Gage and Ellie move to a rural home where they are welcomed and enlightened about the eerie 'Pet Sematary' located near their home. After the tragedy of their cat being killed by a truck, Louis resorts to burying it in the mysterious pet cemetery, which is definitely not as it seems, as it proves to the Creeds that sometimes, dead is better.

4. The Curse of La Llorona
Release date: April 19, 2019 (USA)
Ignoring the eerie warning of a troubled mother suspected of child endangerment, a social worker and her own small kids are soon drawn into a frightening supernatural realm. Their only hope to survive La Llorona's deadly wrath may be a disillusioned priest and the mysticism he practices to keep evil at bay, on the fringes where fear and faith collide.

5. Grudge
Release date: June 21, 2019 (USA)
A house is cursed by a vengeful ghost that dooms those who enter it with a violent death.


With all that's in store for us, it'll be sad to miss out on these amazing films. So make sure you are well set, and if you are watching at home make sure you have a good internet deal to accommodate your streaming and be sure to have your internet service paid ahead of time to avoid any disappointments.
