New rates of Spectrum TV and Internet services

If you are a new Spectrum customers brace yourself for new rates. 

If you are already Spectrum TV customer, you are already paying the New rates. 

The adjustment that has been made in the rates, will be an increase. For a customer with a full suite of Spectrum cable internet and phone services, it could total an additional $7.61 a month.

"We’ve notified customers and franchise officials that beginning in November 2018, the rates for some Spectrum services and equipment are being adjusted," said Patti Michel, a spokeswoman with Charter Communications, which operates the Spectrum brand. "The new rates will affect all markets."

What are the new rates? 

Michel said the new rates and charges will be as per the following. 

• Broadcast cable TV additional charge will increment from $8.85 to $9.95/month, Charter stated, "This reflects costs brought about from local broadcast TV stations." 

Spectrum collectors will increment from $6.99 to $7.50/month. 

• An expansion from $54.99 to $59.99/month for Spectrum Internet for current clients who buy into Spectrum TV

• An expansion from $64.99 to $65.99/month for Spectrum Internet for current clients who don't buy into Spectrum TV

Michel said Charter normally does not discharge measurements on quantities of clients in a specific market, for example, the Asheville territory.
